Job Description
We are currently seeking applications from experienced Solutions
Architects to join our Atlantic Canadian practice. As Solutions
Architect you will work with zed's Enterprise clients in both the
Public and Private sectors, leading web development projects in a
team based environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with consultants, project managers, developers,
analysts and clients to design and architect web based solutions
that meet client requirements.
- Lead a development team to effectively implement architected
solutions
- Support customers through the proposal, implementation,
testing, evaluation, and training processes.
- Communicate effectively with technical and business level
clients, consultants, project managers, analysts, and
developers.
- Work with our clients to understand their IT environments -
including existing enterprise architecture standards and
guidelines.
- Share information and seek feedback within the team in order to
plan, design, and architect optimal solutions for our clients.
- Using your web expertise you will provide technical leadership
and assistance in order to drive a successful project definition
and deliver a result that will impress our clients.
- Conduct necessary research on technology trends in order to
provide advisory services to our clients and project teams.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT
related field with a minimum of 10 years experience
- 5 years plus experience designing web applications and leading
development
- 5-10 years experience in Software Development using a variety
of development platforms, such as .NET, PHP, Java, SQL, XML, HTML,
and JavaScript.
- Advanced technical knowledge and thorough understanding of
architectural standards, best practices, development methodologies,
systems, and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work
collaboratively in a team environment with internal and external
contacts.
- Strong relationship management skills to assert assurance and
confidence in the various projects.
