Job Description
Due to our continued growth and success, we have an immediate opening for a User Experience/Web Designer within our product development team. This is a newly created role to support the growth and development of our products in the Web and mobile space.
As zed's User Experience/Web Designer, you will work on a diverse complement of products and projects and be a key member of zedSuite's team. You will work closely with the product manager while contributing to overall product definition, creating a rich user experience.
You are a passionate user experience web designer that understands how to take tasks and functionality and transform them into attractive, yet simple concepts that will drive user engagement. You will have in-depth knowledge of interaction design and usability best practice as well as considerable experience in visual design.
Qualifications
You will provide expertise in graphic design, web design, user experience, utility, and function. You will also offer guidance on integration and compatibility with search engines and social media sites. Working closely with both the product development and product implementation teams, you will be responsible for ongoing product theme development, prototyping and design of the zedSuite product offerings.
It is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to play a pivotal role in designing cutting-edge eBusiness solutions that transform the way businesses interact and operate with their day-to-day business information. To excel in this creative and fast-paced role, you will require a Degree/Diploma in a related discipline with 5+ years of Web and user experience design. You will have proven experience working with a variety of tools, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Illustrator and Photoshop. With a passion for the Web, you have proven experience in website design, information architecture, interactive design and working with the latest tools to achieve top results and web application usability.
