An EHR solution is a combination of business processes, systems, technology and standards that interact to securely exchange person-specific clinical data (e.g., pharmacy, laboratory, and diagnostic image information). The pan-Canadian EHR involves multi-jurisdictional projects in the areas of infostructure, client/provider registries, diagnostic imaging systems, and drug information systems.
